Types of Logo Application We Offer
Direct Embroidery Your logo is stitched directly into the fabric using embroidery thread. The most durable and professional application method. Embroidery survives hundreds of washes without fading, peeling, or losing definition. Used on the chest panel, sleeve, back, and collar of gis, rashguards, and apparel.
Woven Patch Your logo is woven as a separate fabric patch using a jacquard loom, then sewn onto the garment. Woven patches produce extremely fine detail — sharper than embroidery for complex logos with small text or intricate design elements. Used extensively on gi sleeves, collar tabs, and apparel chest areas.
Embroidered Patch Your logo is embroidered onto a separate fabric backing, then sewn onto the garment. Allows more dimensional and textured effects than flat embroidery. The raised surface of an embroidered patch creates a premium, tactile feel that stands out on gi jackets and hoodies.
Sublimated Patch Your logo is sublimation printed onto a fabric patch, then sewn onto the garment. Allows full-color photographic reproduction — unlimited colors and design complexity. Used when logo complexity exceeds what embroidery threads can reproduce accurately.
Heat Transfer Label A printed transfer applied to the fabric using heat and pressure. Used primarily for inner labels and care labels where a soft, flat application is needed against the skin.

Gi Patch Placement — IBJJF Rules
If your gi patches will be worn in IBJJF-sanctioned competition, placement must comply with IBJJF patch rules:
- Academy patch: Upper left chest — maximum 36cm²
- Sponsor patches: Sleeves — maximum 36cm² per patch, maximum two per sleeve
- Manufacturer logo: Permitted in small form
- No patches with offensive imagery, raised edges, or rough materials

Custom Woven Labels
Custom woven labels are the inner collar labels that carry your brand name, size, care instructions, and country of origin. They are a critical branding element — every practitioner who adjusts their gi collar sees your woven label.
What a custom woven label includes:
- Your brand name or logo
- Size designation (A1, A2, etc. or custom sizing system)
- Care instructions (wash cold, hang dry)
- Country of origin (Made in Pakistan)
- Fiber content if required for your market

Patch Construction Details
Thread count: We use 40-weight polyester embroidery thread for all direct embroidery — the industry standard for durability and color reproduction on martial arts gear.
Backing material: All patches use a stable woven backing that prevents distortion during application and maintains patch shape through repeated washing.
Edge finish: Patches are edge-finished with a merrowed (overcast) border for woven patches or a cut-and-seal edge for embroidered patches — both methods prevent fraying and maintain clean edges under hard training use.
Attachment: All patches are sewn with lockstitch construction at a minimum of 8 stitches per inch around the perimeter — the same standard used for competition-grade patch attachment.
Custom Rank and Belt Patches
Rank patches and belt designation patches are a popular product for academies and federation-affiliated clubs:
- Stripe patches — white fabric stripes sewn onto belts to indicate rank progression within a belt color
- Belt tab patches — embroidered patches at the end of competition belts
- Academy rank patches — custom patches showing academy affiliation for competition

How many thread colors can you use in one embroidery design? We work with up to 15 thread colors in a single embroidery design. For designs requiring more colors or gradient effects, a woven or sublimated patch is recommended instead.
